15: Global Configurations

A number of researchers have been making some startling discoveries regarding the placement of certain megalithic sites around the planet. In The Atlantis Blueprint, co-authored by Rand Flem-Ath and Colin Wilson, it’s shown that the distances from the Great Pyramid to other major sites are at precise degrees of latitude, such as 100, 110, and 120 degrees. They also show that their longitudinal locations also make sense if we consider that several polar shifts have occurred in the past, placing an earlier magnetic North Pole at Hudson Bay, and an even earlier one in the Yukon Territories. The last of these polar shifts would have to date back to at least 9,600 BC, according to the geological evidence, and the earlier Yukon pole shift would have had to be thousands of years earlier than that. If what these authors reveal is true, this means that whoever chose these sites for the construction of these stone megaliths had knowledge and capabilities that were advanced enough to place the sites to within minutes or even seconds of degrees of accuracy. This reveals that such an advanced race had to have existed many thousands of years earlier than we had previously thought. If this is true, it means that our entire understanding of our prehistoric past is in stark error.

There is even more evidence that these sites were placed in a specific global configuration at the time of their construction. An article in The Vancouver Sun newspaper from 2008 reveals that a large number of these sites form an almost perfect circle around the planet. The line of this circle passes through the Giza pyramids, key points along the Tigris, Euphrates, and Nile rivers, the capital of Persepolis in ancient Persia, Mohenjo Daro, the oracle of Ammon at the oasis of Siwa, the lost city of Petra, the ancient Sumerian city of Ur, the temples of Angkor, the Dead Sea, the Himalayas, the remains of what may have been the legendary Atlantis, Easter Island, Nazca, and others. The precision of this circle puts these sites within a margin of error of less than one tenth of one degree of latitude. The center of this circle is found to lie in southeastern Alaska – extremely close to the location of the Yukon pole discussed in The Atlantis Blueprint.

Another odd relationship between the locations of certain of these mysterious sites is that the Great Pyramid and the Bermuda Triangle both lie at the exact same latitude, and are exactly one quarter the circumference of the planet in distance from each other, or ninety degrees longitude in separation.

This evidence ties all of these sites together and makes it almost certain that they were built under the direction of the same people and have all existed for much longer than our previous understandings would suggest. But what does this evidence imply? Why would such precision in their latitudinal and longitudinal configurations be so important? Could this be somehow tied to certain planetary events? That these sites all center around a previous position of the Earth’s magnetic pole strongly suggests that they are somehow related to pole shifts and their effects, but in what manner that might be is still to be determined. As I suggested earlier, certain Earth technologies may have been used to stabilize environmental conditions such as would occur during or after some sort of global cataclysm.
